Fido

Fido

Fido is pleased to announce their new partnership with Evergreen. Fido is the wireless savings company that cares. Not only is Fido encouraging its customers across Canada to adopt paperless billing thereby reducing their environmental impact, proceeds from this program will support greening projects and the planting of 25,000 trees across Canada. Projects include restoring degraded public spaces, improving opportunities for open-air recreation, education and enjoyment, and improving the health and biodiversity of natural habitats in both Toronto and Vancouver.

Green Grants, a Canadian community greening program sponsored by Walmart Canada and led by Evergreen, is the largest program of its kind nationwide, providing funding to groups introducing or enhancing local community green space. Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Walmart Canada operates a growing network of more than 300 stores across Canada and employs more than 80,000 Canadians. Walmart is aggressively pursuing long-term goals to be supplied by 100 per cent renewable energy, produce zero waste and sell merchandise that sustains resources and the environment.
